After spending the long weekend at the famed Lollapalooza, I am beyond stoked to be back to toilets that flush and an abundant connection to the interwebs. I thought that Chi-zilla would lend a concentration of good tattoos for the blogging, but I came away near empty handed.

Mr. Jason Profant made up for it today, when by chance, I bumped into him not too far from his new roosting place, Evermore Tattoo.

A true young gun, Profant’s illustrative musings remind me of NY’s finest, Cavan Infante. There’s no doubt that this gentleman has a ways to go, but he totally has me hooked with his neo-grunge, urban influenced characters. Straight up, these fine works give me a much appreciated chuckle. There’s a certain hidden personified quality to his adornments.

From our brief exchange, Jason surely wooed me with his genuine nature and a fire for his craft. Big props to Evermore for locking this guy down…at least for the time being, before he blows up. And trust me, he will.
